Mr. Makoto Miyazaki is currently the Head of Overseas Business Administration Department at SBI Holdings, Tokyo, a role in which he oversees SBI’s asset management and financial services businesses across all countries outside of Japan. Mr. Miyazaki is a seasoned investment professional with more than 20 years experience in private equity and financial services across Asia. He has been with SBI Group for the last 16 years in various roles including heading SBI’s China operations, a member of the board of SBI Holdings as well as Executive Officer of the company.

Prior to SBI, Mr. Miyazaki worked in Taipei (Taiwan) from 1997 to 2001, first with ABN Amro Asset Management and then with CDIB Asset Management (fully owned by China Development Industrial Bank). Prior to this he started his career with UBS Securities in Tokyo. He speaks English, Japanese, and Mandarin fluently and has a BS (Major in Business and Minor in economics) from Western Oregon University (USA).
