Erwin Arifin is the VP of Investments and Founding Team of Maven Asia Capital - leading its investments, fundraising, and fund operations together with the company's Fund Directors.

Previously, Erwin led the investment operations of the Orbit Indonesia Fund together with SBI Holdings as the VP of Investments & Corporate Development. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, Erwin led the firm's corporate development - fundraising for multiple funds and its portfolio. During his tenure, he has led investments across different industries, ranging from: healthcare, renewable energies; agriculture, logistics & supply chain, and fintech. He also sits as the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies while actively advising the strategy of category leaders such as SWAP Energy (electric vehicle), KedaiPangan (Agritech), Asaren (healthcare), Filmore (healthcare), Bizhare (fintech), and many more.

Before Kejora, Erwin founded StartupIndonesia.co, a machine learning enabled-boutique investment banking that connects Indonesian founders with investors through an online platform. The platform works together with more than 70 regional & institutional investors while capturing more than 3,000 startups data.

In 2018, Erwin joined DBS as the Innovation Manager of digibank - becoming the youngest manager in the bank, in charge of starting new initiatives and segment for the bank. He launched and spearheaded the social commerce segment for digibank and being promoted to Strategic Partnerships Manager.

He was formerly an Investment Analyst at Angel-eQ — an angel investor's network with 15 high net-worth individuals including Shinta Dhanuwardoyo, Erick Thohir, Sandiaga Uno, Adi Sariaatmadja, Tony Fernandez, and more.
